We are looking for EITs who are highly motivated, quick to learn and adapt to our methodologies and standards, and be the type of individuals who are looking for a long-term career with a company that is willing to invest in their successful professional development. Ideal candidates will have completed and earned a Civil Engineering degree and have excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience with design applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and/or OpenRoads is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general CAD drafting support for licensed civil engineers and surveyors on staff.
- Will work under the direction of a Project Manager or PE to produce construction drawings and civil engineering design.
- Work with a team and carefully track all information needed to create design deliverables from initial field survey to final construction drawing package.
- Create design deliverables that meet municipal codes and requirements.
- Work within our defined QA/QC review process to ensure accuracy.
- Be our clients’ advocate to help them efficiently gain approval of their projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed civil engineering degree.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated and a team player.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet client-imposed project deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to contribute as a team to address project needs. May be required to perform administrative type duties as required, i.e., copying and collating plans and preparing/delivering submittals.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, BlueBeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to follow company CAD drafting standards and procedures.
