Farmstead Phase 2 is a 120-unit apartment complex consisting of 7 buildings situated on 5.5 acres in Nampa, Idaho. The biggest challenge with this development was the high groundwater level on the project site, which hampered construction of the building’s seepage beds. FOCUS engineers worked closely with the client to develop a solution that minimally raised the height of the entire site while also using low profile seepage beds. This strategy effectively addressed the high groundwater issue and avoided potentially expensive earthworks costs.
