FOCUS played a pivotal role in the development of the Ridgepoint Mixed-Use Community, a substantial mixed-use project in the Salt Lake Valley spanning more than 23 acres. The development includes 88 townhomes, 88 single-family lots, and 5 commercial buildings. To ensure the project’s success, civil integrated design between commercial lots, townhomes, and single-family lots was critical.
While the Boyer Company was the developer, FOCUS coordinated its design efforts with various clients and stakeholders, as units were sold to different builders. This coordination was essential in managing the complexities of the large development, which involved diverse uses and numerous parties. Additionally, securing permits from both the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and South Jordan Canal Company was a crucial aspect of the project. Through effective relationship-building and strategic coordination with all involved parties, FOCUS successfully advanced the project to completion.
