Billing Specialist: Will work with the FOCUS accounting team, full-time, in-office (No remote option), providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and contributing to the Building of a Better Place.

We are searching for an entry-level accounting teammate who is a long-term, career-minded individual, determined to provide the highest levels of customer service to support our clients’ success and welcomes a challenge to help build a better team, organization, and community.

  • High school diploma.
  • 1 year of prior office experience preferred.


  • Exhibit integrity with both internal teammates and external clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly answering telephone calls, responding timely to emails, and communicating in a professional manner.
  • Competently performing routine aspects of accounting; primarily billing to begin with, but including accounts payable, accounts receivable, analysis of financial data, and consulting with managers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Assist in maintaining and processing accurate time-keeping records.
  • Reporting to your accounting supervisor and build strong relationships across all departments.
  • Set up and maintain project data in the billing software.
  • Produce and provide billing managers with accurate and timely billing information in the coordinated production of client invoices.
  • Will be expected to participate in department goal setting and accomplishments, book reviews, and personal and team development.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour


This is a full-time, hourly position

8-hour shift

Monday to Friday, no weekends
