What YOU can bring to the table:
- Completed civil engineering degree with an emphasis in structural engineering
- Work or intern experience in the field of structural engineering is a bonus
- EIT status or PE licensure a bonus
- Solid analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with all levels of personnel, including leadership, as well as clients.
- Eagerness to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Willingness to be a team player & to contribute as a team to address project needs. May be required to perform administrative-type duties as required, i.e., copying and collating plans and preparing/delivering submittals.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- Capacity to work under pressure to meet client-imposed project deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, BlueBeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with structural design software such as RAM, RISA, Enercalc, Revit, and AutoCAD is a bonus
- Openness to follow company CAD drafting standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with Project Managers & Professional Engineers to produce engineering designs of the utmost quality through the utilization of CAD software & other engineer design programs.
- Utilizing great communication & teamwork, attentively track information required to produce deliverables & assist with the design of proposed infrastructure improvements, such as the design of roadway, sewer, water, and storm drainage systems, as well as site grading design.
- Harnessing thoroughness & integrity, create design deliverables that meet municipal codes & requirements.
- By holding yourself to high standards & employing extreme ownership, work within our defined QA/QC review process to ensure accuracy & project success.
- With a commitment to being the best at customer service & having a passion for our client’s success, be their advocate to help them efficiently navigate designs and provide consultation related to structural engineering .
