Jamie emphasizes the importance of choosing the right consultants. “Follow through is always the biggest thing,” he says. “We value talent and communication.” Jamie also mentions how technology like Revit and BIM 360 play a major role in Centre Sky’s workflow. Integrated modeling allows the firm to work closely with consultants even when disciplines are not in-house. Jamie also emphasizes the importance of thorough drawings as he explains, “Our goal with our drawings is to make them as complete and thorough as possible. The structural engineer and the architect should create clear details so the general contractor doesn’t have to act as a structural engineer or an architect just to figure things out.” Centre Sky Architecture’s attention to detail helps contractors build with confidence.

Centre Sky first learned about FOCUS through word of mouth. Their work together has continued because of a natural and efficient fit. “Once we started working with FOCUS it just flowed well,” Jamie says. Together the teams have worked on various projects.
