H2O Lofts Bridge + Pool Infrastructure
FOCUS provided structural engineering for multiple custom amenities within a townhome community pool area, including a curved steel pergola, a specialty faux rock slide structure, and a precast concrete pedestrian bridge over a lazy river. Each element was delivered under separate scopes and required close collaboration due to limited initial design documentation.
The bridge was designed as a precast system with cast‑in‑place concrete foundation abutments and detailing developed by FOCUS. The faux rock structure required concealed steel framing and foundations that provided structural stability while allowing flexibility for realistic rock formation. The freestanding pergola was modeled and designed as a curved steel frame system using RISA‑3D. Throughout the project, FOCUS worked directly with the client to translate conceptual designs into economical, permit‑ready structural solutions.
