This project included a full remodel and expansion of an existing single-story residence in Draper, Utah, transforming a 1,522 square foot home into a 4,044 square foot modern cottage–style residence. The scope featured removal of the existing roof, addition of a new second story with a fully livable attic space, a rear expansion, and a complete front elevation redesign. FOCUS reconfigured the floor plan to maximize functionality while maintaining the client’s desired architectural character. Extensive collaboration, multiple design iterations, and close coordination with in-house engineering partners ensured successful integration of existing and proposed conditions while meeting all building code requirements.
