Congratulations to Matt Hakes for doubling down on his Professional Engineering license. In August 2018, he earned his Utah license and this month he earned his license in Colorado. Matt is a Jr. Project Manager in our Structural Engineering department.

Matt joined the Focus family in 2016 as an Engineer in Training. Known for his skill in the design of small steel structures, residential structural engineering, and small commercial structural engineering, he is thorough in the engineering process and has extensive knowledge of specialized design and structural software. Clients and co-workers appreciate his ability to clearly explain complex terms and ideas and develop code-compliant engineering solutions to complex structural projects.
