The Seasons at Southpoint apartment complex, comprised of 120 apartment units with underground parking garages, is an impressive, luxurious community in Draper City, Utah. Sited with breathtaking views of the Salt Lake Valley, the community includes amenities such as a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and welcoming open spaces.

FOCUS services included complete site civil engineering grading and utility design, landscape architectural design, and survey services. This development spans a significant slope within a very small area, which required 18’ of retaining walls around the entire east and south sides of the property to accommodate adequate space for the buildings and parking structures on the site.

FOCUS engineers worked closely with the client, Draper City, and our geotechnical engineering partner to design retaining walls that were in accordance with Draper City’s retaining wall ordinance. An innovative design of the top and bottom of the retaining walls followed the steep slope of the site and allowed for the proper development of this multi-family residential community.
