No Surveying or Construction Staking Experience? No problem!

Pay: $18-$22/hour

Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean motor vehicle record
- Work Authorization
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to reliably commute to Midvale, UT or Meridian, ID
- Motivation to follow instructions while working in rough terrain and inclement weather
- Be physically capable to stand, walk, use hands, tools, and controls, reach with arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the successful completion of our projects under the direction of a Crew Chief.
- Clear brush, carry staking supplies and equipment, hammer in stakes, pack and unpack heavy survey equipment, and prepare trucks with necessary supplies.
- Assist in the collection of data and provide accurate information which will then be used by our Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Engineers and Designers to create maps, establish property boundaries, and identify construction elements for contractors.
- Learn an assortment of surveying duties and responsibilities from experienced Crew Chiefs, including: Topographical surveys, staking procedures, vertical and horizontal monitoring, analyzation of plans and specifications, assist in the completion of plats and ALTA surveys
