Our Projects

Hidden Oaks is a master planned community adjacent to Butterfield Canyon comprised of 823 homes. FOCUS was involved with the master planning in conjunction with Ivory Development and Perry Development. FOCUS did the design work on all phases of the project, including the realignment of Butterfield Creek. With close collaboration, all the companies were able to work together to create modern complexes.

Hidden Oaks includes a small valley with steep slopes making the design difficult. FOCUS Engineers worked to design both ends of the steep valley to smoothly connect with other parts of the development. This topography also posed design challenges with storm drains and earthworks. The team worked with outside water resource engineers to model the creek realignment, which enabled them to provide a storm drain design that didn’t require extensive earthworks costs.
