FOCUS provided engineering and utility design for the Karcher and Middleton Backbone Road, which services several commercial lots located on 7 acres west of Middleton Road in Nampa, Idaho.The project site featured several abandoned and active ditches, with the active ditches needing to either be abandoned or rerouted through the site. The client requested roadway and utility design be completed in a timeframe so that construction could take place during the irrigation off-season.
During construction, the contractor found irrigation and sewer lines where they weren’t supposed to be based on survey data. FOCUS quickly updated construction plans and coordinated with the city for reviews to ensuring construction could move forward as promptly as possible.
