The Lang residence consisted of a floor truss system, an open floor plan, and a 22-foot-high basketball court in the basement that required 20-foot foundation walls. The design of the home required creative structural engineering work and close coordination with the client, homeowner, and contractor.

To ensure ease of constructibility, FOCUS provided informative design details at all locations of unique engineering, in addition to their general details. During construction, field letters were provided quickly for all construction modifications.
