FOCUS provided civil construction drawings, ATLA survey work, and a lot consolidation plat to convert a 5,000-square-foot gas station into a Shiny Shell car wash in Provo, Utah.

Unique challenges for this project included grading the site while managing traffic circulation and addressing geotechnical issues from the previous gas station. FOCUS tackled these challenges by obtaining state clearance to dispose of the existing fuel tanks and raising the site to enhance visibility along University Avenue. Additionally, a special type of curb detail was implemented in the design to connect the grading of the car wash with the neighboring property.
