This project involved a single-family residential addition and remodel totaling 1,822 square feet across the basement and main floor. The addition was designed to provide independent and functional living space while tying seamlessly into the existing home’s architectural character. FOCUS worked closely with the client through on-site walkthroughs and multiple design meetings to refine the layout and ensure the addition met the client needs and aesthetic goals. During city review, zoning constraints required design revisions to address limitations on kitchen placement. The team coordinated promptly with the client and the city to resolve these requirements, delivering a cohesive addition that integrates efficiently with the existing residence.
