Our Projects

This was an existing refinery located in North Salt Lake.  We assisted the contractor by providing construction staking services for the installation of water lines, drainage basins and storm drain system.  The challenges of this project were working within an existing and functioning oil refinery which had many oil conveyance pipe network systems which had to be worked around and coordinated in order to install the required improvements.  This required constant field adjustment coordination with the contractor.  We needed to ensure any survey staking adjustments that were necessary due to field adjustments maintained the original intent of the approved infrastructure design.  Focus Engineering & Surveying also had the opportunity to be trained and certified for work on the refinery premises.
