Dylan’s unwavering dedication to his work is a testament to his commitment. He lives by the motto, “Work Hard, Play Hard,” Dedicating himself to his work and making the reward at the end of the week even sweeter. In his leisure time, Dylan indulges in a 24-year-long passion for skateboarding. More recently, he has also developed a love for other adrenaline-inducing sports like mountain biking and snowboarding. His more leisurely activities include exploring the great outdoors with his fiancé and their two dogs.

Inspirations and Role Models

Dylan’s favorite engineering masterpiece is the Blue Ridge Parkway. This 400-mile stretch of scenic highway winds through western North Carolina and Virginia. Twisting up, down, and around the beautiful Smoky Mountains, it is a beautiful feat. “I have spent many days and nights exploring along the road. It has mountaintop views, waterfalls, rock formations, and some of the best trails in the country. The history of the Blue Ridge Parkway blows my mind. Imagine all the planning, design, and construction that went into that road!” he said.

Dylan’s appreciation for the intricacies and beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway mirrors his admiration for the teamwork and innovation he experiences at FOCUS.
