Cris an excellent Crew Chief, who works hard to be the best for his clients day in and day out. Not only that, but he is also HIGHLY VALUABLE, DESIRABLE, AND RARE. He has been instrumental in assisting the Construction Staking department and FOCUS in developing recruiting and marketing materials in Spanish. He has put in extra time and effort at the end of a long day to assist in translating and creating new documents in Spanish. These will benefit the company continually. His desire to find the right “Who’s” shows in his efforts to not only find new people to work at FOCUS, but to develop completely new avenues for discovering people that we may not have found in the past. Thank you, Cris, for all you do to make FOCUS a better place!

Runner-Up: Christian Broberg—Overwhelming Excellence

Christian truly has shown all the PLATINUM properties this last month, so choosing one is difficult. This past month, he has shown properties of being HIGHLY VALUABLE, DESIRABLE, AND RARE. The workload for one of his clients has increased dramatically since the beginning of the year. Christian has managed double time to make sure this client receives their plans on time, manages their expectations when their timeline is impossible, and always seeks to better our deliverables.

He has set a new standard of COMMUNICATION and deliveries to this client. During this time, he has coordinated between several departments within FOCUS to make sure this client gets the best product we can deliver. Even with programs he doesn’t quite yet know how to fully run, he’s stayed late, doing what he can to fill in the gaps to make sure his plans are flawless. It’s impossible to sum up all the reasons, but Christian is more than deserving of PLATINUM of the Month.

I’d like to recognize Christian Broberg with this PLATINUM of the month nomination for his ability to protect and strengthen relationships—being ANTI-NEOPLASTIC. Christian has a high care factor for building strong relationships with the people around him, teammates and clients alike.

I have noticed this for a long time, but especially over the last month as Christian has navigated some difficult relationship situations the right way—by being true to the CORE IDEOLOGY in his concern and approach. He is direct, open, honest, and humble, using the window and the mirror. He seeks out resolutions such that these relationships have a chance to grow stronger while also pushing the standard at FOCUS higher.

Christian became aware of problems with their base plans for a big architectural client, and being PASSIONATE ABOUT CLIENT SUCCESS as he is (HIGH MELTING AND BOILING POINTS), he has put forth an amazing QC review effort to clean up all of the base plans for that client. These will have a long-term benefit for both his client and his department. I’m really impressed with Christian’s commitment to putting out the best plans he can. I feel he truly deserves the PLATINUM of the Month award!

Christian has recently taken on the responsibilities of a large client for our team. It is a demanding production client, pushing hard on all work. He has had to jump in to learn their needs, the TEAM’s capacity, and coordinate between the two. Seeing a gap, he has learned a new program (Revit) to fill in where he can.

He has shown HIGH MELTING AND BOILING POINTS—PASSION FOR CLIENT SUCCESS—by COMMUNICATING frequently with this customer (often having difficult conversations with them). He pushed our team just hard enough and puts in many extra hours. He’s done a fabulous job and deserves the recognition of PLATINUM of the Month!
