Our Projects

FOCUS worked closely with both UDOT and American Fork City to design a separate right turn lane and left turn lane into a major commercial development along 500 East (SR-180) in American Fork. To accommodate the large volume of traffic entering and exiting this development, our engineers determined the appropriate storage and queuing lengths. Access was uniquely designed to improve safety along 500 East and meet UDOT requirements.

To meet all applicable standards, we communicated thoroughly with all parties involved and held regular meetings with stakeholders—keeping all parties up to speed on the design and ensuring everyone was on the same page. This in-person coordination minimized the back-and-forth and associated delays that can occur when multiple parties are involved in a project.
