Qualifications/Requirements:
- Solid analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with all levels of personnel, including leadership, as well as clients.
- Eagerness to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Willingness to be a team player & to contribute as a team to address project needs. May be required to perform administrative-type duties as required, i.e., copying and collating plans and preparing/delivering submittals.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
- Capacity to work under pressure to meet client-imposed project deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, BlueBeam, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit in any engineering or architectural discipline is a bonus.
- Openness to follow company CAD drafting standards and procedures.
- Buy-in & commitment to the FOCUS core ideologies.
- Work from our Midvale office (NO REMOTE OPTION).
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing great communication & inter-departmental teamwork, organize information to create a final construction drawing package on the wide array of projects that FOCUS engineers.
- Employing technical prowess, providing general CAD drafting support for licensed civil engineers and surveyors on staff to produce construction drawings, civil engineering design, and production architectural plans.
- Harnessing thoroughness & integrity, ensuring that design deliverables meet municipal codes and requirements.
- Being the last line of defense for accuracy & quality, hold yourself to high standards & exercise extreme ownership to work within our defined QA/QC review process to assure project success.
- With a commitment to being the best at customer service & having passion for our client’s success, be their advocate to help them efficiently navigate municipality approval.
- Build relationships with Project Managers, Professional Engineers, & Licensed Surveyors to collaborate & problem-solve on initial surveys to final construction drawings.
- With clear & concise communication, coordinate information and provide updates to production architectural plans as requested by the owner and prepare permit package plan submittals.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
8-10-hour day shift
Monday to Friday, No weekends
Overtime Available
